Portlock is one of the most beautiful and expensive neighborhoods on the island! Waterfront homes in Portlock are favored for their lack of CCRs and spectacular sunset views of Diamond Head. The Portlock Neighborhood is part of the Henry J. Kaiser Development of Hawaii Kai and the location of Henry J. Kaiser’s own personal residence. The Portlock area encompasses both the odd and even sides of Portlock Road and a small part of the Kalanianaole Hwy, past Keahole St, just SE of where the Kaupa Pond meets the ocean (in the 6000-7000 blocks of the Hwy).

In Portlock, there are many gorgeous, newly constructed large-sized (4k+sq ft) island-style homes, usually on lots 11,000-20,000 sq ft, and some older (late 40’s early 50’s) Kama’anina homes, with square footage in the mid-2000s, as well. Prices on Portlock Road range from about $1.9M to $18M, with most of the homes in the $2.5-$6M range.
