Windward Passage is Kailua’s tallest building, constructed in 1979 with 18 floors. This residential Kailua condominium complex was planned to be 25 floors but met with opposition from local Kailua residents who prevailed.

The Windward Passage is a fee simple building and contains 216 units which range in size. Approx.  Interior Sq. Ft from 713 for one bedroom to 964 + 90 Sq. Ft  open Lanai for two bedroom and up to 1286  + 90 open Lanai for the Three bedroom units.

Currently, Windward Passage condo units sell on average for $ 527.00 per Sq. Ft, making the average sale price around $ 520,000.  At Windward Passage in Kailua, you can expect to pay a maintenance fee of around $400 to $600 which includes Cable TV, Hot water, water & sewer.
