Kailua Condo Living 

Kailua, Oahu, on the Windward side of the Island of Oahu, Hawaii, is a great place for condo living. When searching for Kailua real estate, there are many options to choose from and condominiums in Kailua are generally (with a few exceptions) more affordable- than single-family homes in Kailua.

Overall, Kailua or Kailua Town, as some call it, is one of the most desired locations to live on this Island.

There are many reasons people love living in Kailua, Oahu. Kailua Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the climate is ideal, the location and the proximity of Kailua to downtown Honolulu and work (20 min over the Ko’olau via the Pali Highway) is great, and Kailua provides a neighborly, close knit community.

Because the area is desirable, there is a direct impact on the increasing average home prices in this area.
With the home prices ranging from about $600,000 to $10,000,000.

So how do you enjoy the easygoing lifestyle of this quaint beach side town with out constant worry about your mortgage?  Try Kailua Condo Living!  Most often, the cost to buy is less than a single family home.

Kailua Condominium prices range from the high $200’s to about $950,000, depending upon the size and location, but most are in the $350-$550 range. Most of the condominiums in Kailua were built in the 70’s but there are some new construction condos going up now — Ka Malanai, formerly the Ironwoods — which promise to be spectacular.  

Kailua condos complexes also provide you with an ideal location. Most are within a mile of the beach & walking distance to boutique shopping, restaurants & supermarkets.

Kailua Condos provide amenities such as gyms, pools, saunas, spa pools, tennis courts and BBQ area’s along with beautiful landscaping, which you don’t have to do yourself! This gives you lots of time to enjoy all the recreational activites Kailua has to offer.  There is usually extra storage for your bikes & surf boards.


Another great things is that you don’t have to worry about exterior building maintenance and electricity is even included in some Kailua condo miantenance fees, along with the common Water/Sewer charges.

Living in a condominium in Kailua is a great way to live a fabulous lifestyle of easy beach living in this beautiful, highly desirable region of Oahu, Hawaii.

There are about 16 Kailua Condominium Complexes, three are high-rises, several are townhome style, and there is one new construction condominium Ka Malanai, to choose from, ranging in price from $250,000 to $950,000.
