Kailua Real Estate - Remodeled Enchanted Lake 4/3 Cul-de-Sac Oasis

SOLD!! $1,070,000 ~ 801 Halula Place in Enchanted Lake, Kailua! Highest price per square foot EVER sold in Enchanted Lake (non golf course/lake/canal homes). 2d highest $/sqft even including these homes!

This is a beautiful, completely remodeled Kailua home with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. It is on an large, 8,402 sq ft cul-de-sac lot, with many neighbors that front Enchanted Lake. The total living space under roof is 1,926 sq ft, which includes a huge covered lanai, front porch and 3rd full bathroom.

This Kailua home was recently repainted and the roof has a GACO reflective and protective coating. Hurricane ties and many new framing members have enhanced the structure of this home beyond its orignal construction.

Kailua Real Estate | Keolu Hills Remodeled Home SOLD $805K FS

Keolu Hills is a great neighborhood in Kailua, near Enchanted Lake. Homes in the area range from plantation-style cottages to executive homes with sweeping views of the ocean and/or Enchanted Lake.

Home Shoppe Hawaii recently helped find and closed on a Keolu Hills Kailua home for some of our delightful VA buyers. This prime piece of Keolu Hills Kailua real estate was a 4/3 home, with 3/2 in the main part of the house and 1/1 as a mother-in-law suite, that could be used for guests or even as a rental. This charming Kailua home for sale was fully remodeled and move-in ready. The kitchen had stainless steel applicances and granite countertops. The entire home had new flooring and all bathrooms were new. All remodels and additions were permitted. The spacious master suite featured two sinks and a shower-tub combo.  The back yard had mature fruit trees and new grass with sprinklers and the home was freshing painted.

Great homes at this price point, particularly those than meet VA Loan requirements, can be hard to find in Kailua. My clients were able to secure this one by acting quickly when the Kailua home fell out of escrow with another buyer. Buying a home in Kailua often requires dilligence and unique buying and offering strategies, given the low inventory and high demand for Kailua real estate that we are currently experiencing.

Kailua Real Estate | Enchanted Lake Neighborhood - 2012 Sold Homes

Enchanted Lake neighborhood had a big year in sales, with 46 transactions in 2012. The average sale price in Enchanted Lake rose to $814,439. The list to sale price percentage averaged out to 100%, so that tells you there were many full price and over asking sales. The average Days on Market (DOM) was 64, so property moved relatively quickly. This is a popular neighborhood, as it is one of the more affordable areas of Kailua.

Enchanted Lake homes sold in 2012 ranged from cute remodeled homes on small lots to more expansive lakefront homes like the one below, sold by Home Shoppe Hawaii. Enchanted Lake includes canalfront, lakefront and golf course homes in Kailua.
